US ArtQuest - Adhesives

Transparent UV protective, acid free, archival and non toxic, this universal acrylic adhesive and medium has been extensively studio tested on literally every type of paper, plastic, metal, wood and glass. Substantially different to any other wet adhesive PPA, it is non sticky when wet and absolutely non tacky when dry.

Use PPA for fine art collage, montage, assemblage, decoupage, rubber stamping, scrapbooking, book arts, a dry pigment medium, glazing or as a finishing coat.

Adhesive backed metal foil tape. Available in brass, copper and brushed silver. Foil-it is heat resistant, acid free and extremely maleable. Foil-it is the ideal metal tape for decorative edging around glass or mica tiles, collage, scrapbook borders, rubber stamping and all arts or crafts.

Duo Embellishing Adhesive 30ml

Light bodied, self levelling, acid free and water soluble. Duo drys within minutes to a repositional clear tacky surface. Ideal for gilding and restoration work. Use with real gold or composition leaf, dry pigments or embossing powders on almost any surface, including wood, paper, glass and mica.

The definitive dry adhesive. Great Tape is repositionable, acid free, non toxic, non yellowing, transparent and heat resistant up to 178ºF. High performance, it bonds to a variety surfaces, including paper, mica, plastic films, gild, metallic plastic foils, beads, charms and lightweight objects. Uses include scrapbooking, matting, photo mounting and all fine arts or crafts.

STD104 Gum Arabic

Water soluble, archival, non toxic, colourless powder easily mixed with water. Gum Arabic forms a thin impenetrable film around particles, protecting them from oxidation. Gum Arabic increases gloss and the transparency when mixed with pigments and water to form water colour paint. Use as a lightweight adhesive or thickening agent.

PPA530 101 Craze & Crackle

A permanent and archival acrylic medium. Craze & Crackle will craze & crackle nearly any semi rigid or rigid surface, drying to an opaque matt durable finish. It can be blended with various dry pigments. When dry, thin layers produce fine crazing and thicker layers crackling. For furniture, papier mâché and a variety of surfaces.

PPA520 101 Light Artist’s Cement

Versatile, archival, artist’s cement has superior adhering attributes, drying to an opaque matt finish, able to be sanded or carved, extremely durable, resistant to water, chemicals and UV rays. When dry 101 is lightweight and flexible, making it ideal for impasto canvas work. Use for dimensional stencilling, stucco and fresco effects. It will also adhere virtually any two materials.
