About our Wood Mounted Stamps

The Woodware collection of wood mounted rubber stamps are made from grey rubber that is deeply etched so that the imprint surface is easy to ink. The rubber is carefully trimmed preventing undercuts, partial impressions, smudged backgrounds and shadowing.

The grey foam cushion between the wooden block and the rubber is 3mm (1/8th”) thick, this enables a better impression on textured or uneven surfaces to be achieved.

Our wooden blocks are made from European Birch, with a comfortable curved edge and ideal weight for optimum control and grip.

The decal is black and is the identical size of the rubber image

Instructions for use

1. Choose your stamp. Apply your selected ink (some permanent inks may stain the rubber, but this will not affect future stamping projects) making sure the raised image is completely covered.

2. Press the stamp on to paper, card or whichever medium you are decorating (it is often a good idea to sample test on scrap paper, to check you have inked correctly) If you are stamping a large image, extra pressure will be needed.

3. Clean your stamp thoroughly after use, using our ‘Magic Carpet’ scrubber pad and stamp cleaner, and dry off with a kitchen roll.

4. Always store your stamps away from extreme cold or heat
