All of this week, the Dream Team and the Woodware UK teams are celebrating the release of the new holiday designs from Dreamweaver Stencils. Of course, no celebration is complete without prizes…and there are some fabulous ones for those commenting on both sides of the “pond”.
Each team will be providing the opportunity to win four prize packages of stencil designs, perfect for the holidays. Just leave your comments each day on each players’ post as well as the Dream It Up! and Woodware UK blogs, and the Dreamweaver and Woodware Facebook pages. Two random commentors will be chosen from the batch of weekday posts, one each from the DW and WW Facebook pages, and from the big hop on Saturday…from each side of the pond!* That’s a total of eight prize packages up for grabs! Here’s what you could win:

So I have combined a new Woodware Stamp designed by Francoise and a couple of Dreamweaver stencils.
The two stencils are Snowflakes and Let it Snow. The snowflake background I ran through my embossing machine and then ran a Sky Blue Brilliance Pad over the top. I did this with the stencil off as I was not bothered about it being neat, but remember you will always get more precise colouring with the stencil on.
When using metal stencils through your embossing machine place the stencil on the deep platform, then your metal and then the rubber mat and then the two plates that you normally use for your sandwich. This keeps the stencil nice and flat, for the future.
Then for Let it Snow I used Pearl Embossing Paste and while the paste was still wet I added ultra fine Crystal Glitter
The penguin is a Francoise design for Woodware he is called Chubby Penguin. I stamped him with white Stazon on black card and then with Black Stazon on white card and cut the layers. The colouring was done with Sakura Glaze pens. I have mounted him on an action wobble. You can find lots more about action wobbles on the Stampendous Blog as they have been showcasing them. They are springs that really add life to your cards.
I attached the images and then ran glue around the edges, on to the glue I sprinkled a mixture of glitter from the Stampendous Glitter Kit Frantage Treasures and of course some Shaved Ice.
So go on off you go and see what the rest of the team are up too!
Don’t forget to leave me some holiday cheer as you move on to the other players for today:

Love your card Dorothy, with all the different techniques you have used. That Chubby Penquin has been very popular at A Maze of Memories – we have sold out so I am ordering more!
