Woodware Challenge Week 57 – Mercart Metal – Day 4

We are back with more Mercart Metal today, and we are back with me….I am posting for Francoise today.

Of course it had to be a Francoise designed stamp, and with sport in the news all the time at the moment my thoughts turned to The Number One Champ Clear Magic set. The tennis has pride of place in the middle as Wimbeldon plays in the background.

I have used Mercart Metal to make a bronze, silver and gold medal. Of course the silver is just the back of the bronze! I used the green 1″ circle punch and then ran the double ended decorative wheel over the punched shape. I used the morse code end across the middle and then the horizontal wheel around the edge.

The greeting is  mounted on red and blue gingham ribbon.

Thank you for visiting us today we will be back tomorrow with more metal magic.

I really like this card – the medals are very inventive!

Aren’t you the clever girl? Love your Mercart metal medals (say that five times fast)! That set of images is a perfect jump-off point.

Really like this card, especially the medals. Was just wondering are the stamped images cut out by hand or is there a punch that works?

Well spotted Suzanne, I used the green size square punch and as the stamped images have curved corners on the square I coloured them with a black Tombow pen.
